People fall in love in mysterious ways. Nicole and Michael recently got married at the beautiful Rosemary Hill just outside of Pretoria. A venue that makes one feel even more in love. Lovebirds | How did you two meet?

We met at a portuguese feast through mutual friends. We chatted all night and at the end
of the evening he asked for my number. Immediately when I had left, he smsed saying
"guess who?" We have never stopped talking ever since.

I said Yes | How did the proposal go down?

The proposal happened on Christmas day. Weeks before he told me that I might not get
my present as it was stuck in forever land. As the nice girl that I am, I said: Dont worry
babe, I dont need a gift"

For many years, Christmas tradidtion at my family is that we stay up all night long and
play games from Christmas Eve till Christmas day.So bearing that in mind, we arrived
back home at 6.30am on Christmas Day. With red eyes we both went to our beds.
Minutes later I heard a knock on my door and heard my love say: "Ba, your Christmas
present has arrived", I roll over to find him on one knee, proposing!

The Big Day | Tell us the most memorable moment of your wedding day?

It would have to be the moment when I walked through the Barn Doors to see my
husband standing at the end waiting for me. After 7 years with this incredible person, I
fell even more in love with him with every step I took towards him.
