Have you considered the 'something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue' tradition for your wedding? We love the nostalgic and meaningful piece to this traditional saying if you have pieces that correspond! Planner Blue Skies Events Nola, photographer (and mentor!) Marissa Lambert Photography, and designer Bee's Wedding and Events Design dreamed up this gorgeous traditional southern wedding filled to the brim with inspiration for a one-on-one workshop with the talented Jacqueline Dallimore. The result? We are just swooning over these photographs by Jacqueline and know plenty of brides will be pinning away on this one...

From Blue Skies Events Nola: "Blue Skies Events Nola designed this lovely styled shoot to showcase the theme of something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue. Jacqueline Dallimore photographed each moment with perfection during her one-on-one workshop with Marissa Lambert!

Something old - This styled shoot took place at Patton's Salmen-Fritchie House. The Salmen-Fritchie House's very first wedding was heralded as the "Wedding of the Century," hosting more than 4,000 guests. Something New - A new dress, new rings, and most importantly a new beginning. Something Borrowed - This styled shoot utilized china, silverware and crystal glassware from my Parents' and Grandparents' wedding. Something Blue - My Great Grandmother wished all couples who were getting married "Blue Skies" to replace the normal courtesy of Congratulations, Best of Luck, etc. The saying "Blue Skies" sticks with me still to this day and I want to wish everyone a beautiful Blue Skies Wedding! Blue Skies Events Nola, a New Orleans based event planning company, worked closely with Bee's Wedding and Events Design and Marissa Lambert of Marissa Lambert Photography to turn the vision for the shoot into reality. Blue Skies Events Nola can help you to plan any and all events, from your wedding to your vow renewal. Bee's Wedding and Event Designs can provide florals for your "Wedding of the Century," or even for something as small as a ceremony with a sit-down dinner!"
