We have a mixing of themes today with this glamourous forest wedding shoot by a Andie Freeman. Bohemian vibes were the main inspiration behind this shoot but planners Southern Sophistication Designs wanted to incorporate luxurious elements not normally associated with the boho style. I'm a magpie when it comes to glittering gowns and I'm more than a little obsessed with the brides stunning Adrianna Papell dress. It's a real head turner and also works beautifully as a bridesmaid dress. The evening light really bounced and brought to life the jewel toned table setting and we are sure that you boho loving brides will find plenty of ideas and inspiration for a woodland soiree today.

The Inspiration

"The bride and groom in this shoot are a real couple, chosen to show true emotion. We decided to base the ceremony in the forest with a beautiful mantle acting as the altar. Gold chiavari chairs and dried bunches of lavender added the finishing touches to the ceremony style. Farmhouse tables were used for the reception and reflected the rustic surroundings. We adorned it with a lace runner, gold candelabras dripping with crystals, gold chargers plates, white and gold rimmed china, crystal stemware, and to top it all off, real heirloom silverware from Britain. At the end of the table sat beautiful red velvet chairs. A rich colour palette was incorporated into the session with burgundy as acting as the main colour. The paper suite was hand made and calligraphed by an amazing calligraphy artist Sherry Beauchamp. The brides beautiful floral halo in deep hues of green and purple balanced the boho with the glam of her gorgeous one shouldered, nude dress. The finishing touch was a pair of gold Sergio Rossi pumps that wrapped around her ankles.

The naked cake was adorned with rosemary and blackberries and was finished with a handmade 'Love' cake topper in gold. It all sat on a vintage truck beside a port bar with crystal decanters and a family heirloom of the photographer."
