Things have gotten a whole lot busier here at IW, and we are looking for an editor to help take the IW brand to the next level.

The editor will:

• Create 2-4 blog posts for Intimate Weddings each week in keeping with the Intimate Weddings philosophy and aesthetic. Topics will include everything from wedding trends and real weddings to sponsored content.
• Develop new ideas and concepts for the blog.
• Select and source real weddings to feature on Intimate Weddings that are aligned with the IW aesthetic.
• Execute the Intimate Weddings editorial calendar. This includes writing blog posts, editing blog posts from contributors, enforcing deadlines (the managing editor will oversee IW contributors) and scheduling blog posts, ensuring all content is optimized for search engines and social media.
• Play a key role in increasing IW's social media presence. This will include promoting posts across all social media channels to ensure maximum visibility. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience managing social media.

• Blogging experience with WordPress.
• Excellent writing and grammatical skills. Our style is fun and conversational. We want someone who can write compelling content and catchy headlines.
• An understanding of the Intimate Weddings aesthetic and philosophy.
• Enthusiasm for growing the IW brand.

• Photoshop skills and photography skills (we would love to hire someone who can contribute DIY projects!)
• SEO knowledge
• Social media marketing experience
