So much heart and thought went into this fun and beautiful desert wedding, photographed by Gaby J Photography in Vegas. From individual escort cards made out of pinecones that the couple collected to guests' names handwritten on an old barn window... this couple thought of everything. The bride, dressed in an Allure Bridal gown, gives great advice about being resourceful for your big day. We will add that typically DIY projects add the sweetest personal touch, but don't overdo it! Keep the stress levels low by only committing to a few projects, just like today's bride!

From the bride: "Our Favorite Memory of the Day- We didn't have our first dance as we were both really shy to dance in front of everyone. As soon as the ceremony ended, our photographer led us to a quiet spot in the garden to take first photos of us as husband and wife. All the rush and excitement we felt seeing our family and friends seemed to quiet down as we spend a few minutes alone together reminding ourselves how lucky we are today. The beauty of nature around us, birds chirping and soft wind blowing. That moment was so special and peaceful.

Our Advise to couples planning today- Be resourceful and creative. Jason and I have done a lot DIY from the table center piece to the wedding favors. Our weekend consists of daily trips to Michaels and Hobby Lobby. Pinterest is also a great tool for inspiration and ideas. Enjoy your special day as we've been told once, the day will go by fast so have fun and don't stress. Inspiration behind the day- The beautiful mountains of Red Rock Canyon in Las Vegas were our inspiration for our wedding. We love the Desert Mountains, wild burrows and different native plants. We found the Springs Preserve as a perfect location. The botanical gardens and our own personal decors in our venue provided that perfect combination of rustic and elegance we loved. DIY ProjectsVendor Details
1. Instead of purchasing a pre made seating plan from a stationary store, we purchased an old barn window from a local vintage store and used it to write the guest names and table numbers with a white window marker. This gave a lovely personal touch
2. Jason and I love Hiking. While hiking, we collected pinecones at least a hundred of them. We used it for place card names at every table. We dusted each pine cones with gold glitter and MOD. It gave each guest table a woodsier elegant feel. Guests took most of the pine cones as souvenirs.
3. For our wedding favors, we bought small mason jars and filled it with cinnamon vanilla potpourri in each jar and wrap the top cover with a vintage mai print fabric and tied it with burlap. They smelled so nice in the wedding reception."
