If you love preppy half as much as we do, you're going to adore this wedding. Held at the National Croquet Center, Chloe and Sean's classic event is lovely. From handsome groomsmen playing croquet in tuxedos to a bridal party in vibrant royal blue dresses, this wedding is filled with the timeless details that were so important during this couple's wedding planning. Read below on Chloe's advice to newly engaged brides. Thank you to The Big Day Photography for sharing this special day with us!

What was most important for you to include in your wedding? What was your favorite detail? What was your wedding theme or style? Five words (or less) that describe the two of you and your wedding: Your first dance song and why you chose it: What is your advice to couples who are planning weddings now?

Sean and I are all about family, friends, and having a great time. We said from the beginning that our vision for the wedding was "one big party." It was our main priority for the guests to have a blast.

It is so hard to pick one, because everything that I had envisioned came to reality that day. The venue has to be my favorite thing about our wedding. The venue really captured our personalities. It was the prefect amount of preppy and romantic, and it was the perfect backdrop for all of the other details.

Classic and timeless. I have always been preppy and have loved the classic "Ralph Lauren" look. I wanted to look back in the years to come and still feel happy about the style we chose.

So. Much. Love. We could really feel that everyone was there to celebrate us and our love.

Ed Sheeran's "Thinking Out Loud." We chose this song because the words are so simple, yet so relatable. I texted Sean that I heard the song at work and liked it, and he already had it playing when I got home. We started dancing in our living room, and decided that would be our song.

Enjoy it. Follow a month-by-month planning checklist, and you will find yourself being less stressed and more excited. Make sure that every detail chosen showcases your personalities. You want your guests to arrive to your wedding and think, "This is so them."
