4th of July Picnic Inspiration

We are kinda crazy about the 4 th of July. Not only does it represent an amazing + important thing - our country's independence - but it's typically celebrated in a way we just love: with fun, sun, food + friends! The team behind today's picture-perfect editorial, photographer Meg Perotti + the design team at Beijos Events, styled + captured a setting ripe with all the best summer details; design elements we think would translate oh-so-easily to a 4th of July party, summertime wedding, or girls-only bridal shower picnic. Let's hear more from the Beijos crew:

We wanted to throw a 4th of July backyard picnic with close friends that wasn't the traditional red, white, and blue. We had a hint of a Moroccan vibe that was used through out the glassware, serving ware, and menus. We incorporated pops of pinks and teals to create an updated color palette for a fun 4th of July table setting. The ladies sat at a low table that included custom name totes filled with fireworks. The table was covered with carnations, wildflowers, and succulents to give those pops of 4th of July colors. A backyard picnic with your girls isn't complete without dessert! Moroccan tumblers were filled with Eaton's Mess, a yummy dessert that has layers of rose water infused whipped cream, blackberry compote, and crushed meringue. So good! Macaroon ice cream sandwiches, meringue kisses, and little macaroons filled up this pretty table with yummy treats. A night filled with lots of laughs, food + beer, and sparkler fun was a perfect 4th of July celebration.

How much are you loving this palette?! And so many pretty little table details, too...like the menus + signage by Prim and Pixie!

Looks like a perfect afternoon to us! And loving that close-up below of the Eaton's Mess treat (mentioned in the post opener) in pretty glasses from Borrowed Blu. Yum!

The Sugar Studio designed THE cutes macarons ever for this one.

Raise your hand if you wish you could jump right through your screen and into this festive setting! Big thanks to the creatives below who put together this awfully cute scene!

We're a little bit early, but let us be the first the wish you all a Happy 4th of July!
