Daisies are often synonymous with summer just like watermelon and strawberries. So, when I was thinking of a fun floral mani, my mind immediately went to the pretty white flowers that seem to be everywhere right now. Check out my spin on a negative space mani starring the daisy!

Instructions

Step 1: Start with manicured hands wiped clean with acetone or alcohol to free the nail beds of any dirt or oil. Paint on your base coat. Using your white polish and dotting tool, paint on six dots on the outer edge of the nail. Clean the dotting tool with acetone, and drag the wet polish lightly from each dot toward the center of the nail (as pictured). This creates your petal shape. Repeat until all the nails are finished.

Step 2: Using a small nail art brush, paint thin black lines on each petal from the center of the petal to the center of the nail (as pictured). Repeat on the rest of your nails and allow three to five minutes to dry.

Step 3: Using a clean dotting tool, paint a yellow dot in the center of each nail. Make sure you use an opaque yellow for this step, so that you won't have to paint on more than one dot to cover the white and black underneath! Allow another three to five minutes to dry. Paint on top coat, apply cuticle oil and you're good to go!
