Today on the blog we are sharing a very special wedding, one of our very good friends Yanic and Stiaan. The beautiful wedding took place at their holiday home in Montagu, like Adele Kloppers Photography explains, a photographers dream! Yanic is a big dog lover and is the mother to five dogs, all five had a prominent and important role to play on their wedding day. The most famous of these five is Frits, an ambassador to dogs over the world, a dog with his own brand, @Frits, a company that designs dog clothing. I was staying the night at our family hotel, Dutch Manor, and busied myself with
my own routine. At around 11pm one of the staff members came to my room and
asked me to help a guest with the wi-fi password. I was highly annoyed at this, as the
instruction booklet neatly described the wi-fi log on details. Turns out this guest and I
stayed up all night chatting and drinking wine. The next he 'accidentally' missed his
flight so that he could stay another night. And that was the start of the Stiaan & Yanic
story.

I said Yes | How did the proposal go down?
I love hiking. My dogs love hiking. Stiaan not so much. But nevertheless we embarked
one day on a long and grueling hike up a mountain range in Montague. There was much
huffing and puffing, and at the very top he popped the question and I let out an exhausted
'Yes!' It was a beautiful moment, and very touching.

The Big Day | Tell us the most memorable moment of your wedding day?

When I was walked down the aisle by my darling pet, Frits. All of our animals wore
custom made@Frits clothing and it was a sight of note. They were an integral part of
our big day, and even joined us on the dance floor. They looked so dashing in their
@Frits clothing that they almost outshone me, the bride. Almost.
