Alternative Photoshoot At The Keeper And The Dell: The Video

Happy Friday Gorgeous People,

Hope you've all had a good week.

You may remember that in June we featured a sneak peek into an incredible styled shoot that was put together by Norfolk wedding venue The Keeper and The Dell, and featured some of Norfolk's finest wedding suppliers. We're talking Camilla Andrea Photography, The Country Garden Florist, Argent and Sable Signs, Bohemian Love Story and Animalesque to name but a few (a full line up of the amazing suppliers involved can be found at the bottom of the post.) With dresses from Grace Loves Lace, Daughters of Simone and ASOS, this was a shoot that had so much talent and creativity involved that it was sure to be nothing but brilliant.

We have already shared the inspiration to the shoot here, and a week later we posted some sneak peeks. Now we are ready to share the awesome (and I mean AWESOME) video by Capture Media. If this doesn't fill you with ideas and inspiration for your wedding, then I don't know what will!

Get your pens poised peeps because after seeing this, you are most definitely going to be adding these suppliers to your little black book of wedding awesomeness!

Mike, the brains behind Capture Media and talent behind this film, talks us through the video from the brief to filming on the day.

Images featured are captured by Camilla Andrea.

Enjoy.

At the end of May this year we headed down to a quaint little wedding venue situated in the heart of Norfolk to film an Alternative Photoshoot alongside some of the best suppliers the region has to offer. A beautiful collective of a traditional canvas marquee in a pretty woodland dell, an eighteenth century Gamekeeper's barn, camping gardens, fire pit and a little wood cabin is just a few of the unique aspects that makes The Keeper and the Dell one of the most romantic of places to host a unique Norfolk wedding. If you are looking for a wedding that's just that little bit different you really don't want to miss this one...

At Capture Media we are storytellers and we try to tell the story of each wedding day through film. We believe in creating something that is both creative and fun while at the same time displaying elegance and beauty. Something that you can look back at over years to come and that will still bring back all the memories, love, and emotion of the day like it happened yesterday. We love the way you can capture the emotions of the day like no other through film, and cinematography is the perfect platform to do just that.

Lolly from The Keeper and The Dell wanted to create a running theme of Norfolk Love and Family. 'Family' in the sense of the stuff that brings like minded people together who are all up for a bit of hard graft to pull off a great celebration. She wanted the shoot to have a Mediterranean meets Anglophile vibe with good energy and a strong editorial style. In her words 'imagine an artistic celebrity couple with a true eclectic edge, wanting to marry in crazy England but with a Mediterranean connection.'

She wanted us to film plenty of setting up and prep shots of all of the suppliers from their arrival through to the shoot itself. She also asked us to capture the guests arriving (yes this shoot had guests!) the welcome drinks, the ceremony setting and the food celebration & gathering. This shoot was to work exactly how a wedding would.

We wanted to make sure that we were first to arrive so that we could get great footage of all the different suppliers arriving, unpacking and setting up. Our aim was to create a feeling of anticipation that keeps building during the day up to the wedding ceremony itself. We tried to give it an editorial feel by creating lots of movement and experimenting with some creative and unique angles to some of the shots. We ensured that we captured interaction between guests and the bridal party to create an atmosphere of celebration and unity between family and friends. We put a lot of emphasis on capturing the fine details of the venue and also the food, flowers, decor etc of each individual supplier throughout the day to showcase this great venue and the suppliers as best we could.

When it came to filming the Bride and Groom we used a "Ronin M" camera stabiliser to create flowing, sweeping shots of the couple to produce a very dreamy and "in love" look. The editing of the video took quite a while as we wanted to make sure we created the right feel for the video with the footage we took. Once we selected the 2 songs for the video the rest almost just fell in place and it all just came together perfectly. We are really pleased with the final result.

Soundtrack: Song 1: "Goldmine" by Cereus Bright; Song 2: "Hold On" by Marie Hines

Both songs are licensed through The Musicbed.
