Lea + Matt have the cutest story of how they met, which inspired their entire wedding, too! Matt is in the band Hawthorne Heights + met Lea while playing a show in Lyon, France. They dated long distance for several years, and Lea officially received her VISA just a few weeks before they exchanged their vows, making her transition from France to the US finally complete!

For their Ohio estate wedding, Lea + Matt wanted to blend both cultures into the celebration and chose to DIY much of the decor to make the day extra personal and unique. Matt built the two bars out of old palettes, Lea incorporated both languages into the signage + design, and the two of them spent countless hours at antique stores hunting down the perfect details to incorporate into their day. Lea jokes, If you are looking for vintage brass candleholders in southwest Ohio, good luck. We have them all!
