Gimlet-eyed Crystal Nicodemus is busy snapping street-style starlets during NYFW. Here are her photos to inspire you for next season, or this, and some wardrobe picks to help you get the look.

Anyone who follows The Thread knows how much I love a woman in a suit. There's just something eternally chic about suiting. Holly's classic menswear-inspired style gets my vote, for sure. I love the relaxed fit and simple styling. She looks effortlessly cool, which is often tough to pull off. Looks like I'm on the hunt for yet another suit for my closet!

Liz is rocking my favorite denim trend of the season: tall cuffs with raw edges. I am such a fan of wide-leg denim, especially those with some extra flair. Liz is clearly a risk taker and it pays off. Her statement floral has a unique interplay with her rustic denim. Feminine ruffles have been popping up everywhere and they really add some amazing movement to a garment. Patterned platforms are bold and fun. I love people who think outside the box!

Brazilian blogger powerhouse, Helena Bordon always causes a frenzy at Fashion Week. She has a classic feminine style, with a modern twist. Today's look is sweet and chic, with a touch of French whimsy. The midi skirt continues to be a dominant style and, no wonder, it's such a flattering fit. This denim version pairs perfectly with a simple striped knit and sleek heels. Add a unique clutch and you're ready for Fashion Week.

As you can see, denim is everywhere this season. Paula's oversized shirt lends a casual counterbalance to her sleek military-inspired wrap skirt and stiletto sandals. Laura went a more vintage route and paired a sweet floral dress with slim crops. The dress-over-pants theme has been gaining momentum this season. I think I'm finally ready to give it a try. Thanks for the push, Laura!
