Intimate Bohemian Big Sur Wedding: Lisa + Ben

Beautiful Big Sur is one of our all-time favorite wedding backdrops + we always love seeing how different couples put their own spin on the jaw-dropping setting. Lisa + Ben kept their guest list small + their details simple in order to really focus on the natural beauty surrounding them. They worked with Sitting In A Tree Design to dust the scene at the Wind and Sea Estate with stylish boho touches like a mini teepee lounge and a rustic tablescape featuring mismatched vintage tableware. Below, they tell us more about their inspiration + why they chose this picturesque location for their day:

Big Sur holds a very special place in our hearts, not only is it breathtakingly beautiful but there is just something about the way it makes us feel that can't be explained. We also both love the outdoors. Surfing, hiking, and camping is our thing so it only made since to tie the knot in our favorite place where "the mountains meet the Pacific." A small laid-back wedding was what we always wanted. At first we planned on eloping with only immediate family, eventually we added our best friends, 21 guests in all. It was hard not having ALL our loved ones with us on our special day but it was very important to us to keep things intimate. Our wedding day couldn't have been more perfect; the decor, the music, the food, and crazy antics that took place were so "us".
