Science-meets-Botanical Wedding Inspiration

The idea behind today's gorgeous editorial was to mix quirky, elegant + rustic details together to create a botanical + science-inspired scene. Sarah of Daisies and Pearls styled the location, Broadturn Farm Scarborough, Maine, with a lovely tablescape filled with industrial touches and wildflower centerpieces by Floral Bliss.

And the photographer, Patricia, of Kivalo Photography who came up with the concept tells us more about the inspiration, We were inspired by clients of mine who were studying fungus and working in the bio tech field. The idea was a making nerdy cool in a high end hipster science/botanical shoot. A little bit of quirky mixed with a bit of elegance and some rustic. Truly giving a new look to weddings and inspiring people to make them their own.

We love, love, love the purple-infused bouquet...the touches of clematis vine are just so pretty!

The tablescapes included lots of cute, whimsical touches like textures placemats, colored glassware + handwritten place cards.

Seriously loving these wildflowers!

And the cakes by My Three Cakes completed the sweet, botanical vignette.

Thanks so much to the very talented team below for sharing this project with us today!
