When you're looking at wedding dresses online, it can be hard not to inadvertently fall in love with a gown that's way over budget.

And equally hard to put it out of your mind when you start to look at dresses that are half the price.

Well, for anyone who's ever fallen hard to a $10,000 wedding dress, this is the collection for you.

Gala Collection No. 1 is the debut luxury ready to wear collection by acclaimed couture designers, Galia Lahav (and it still looks pretty couture to us!).

A few months back, we shared the Galia Lahav runway collection from New York Bridal Fashion Week, with a preview of the lower price point, just-as-gorgeous Gala collection. And today, we're treating you to the epic lookbook.

Captured in some pretty breathtaking settings around the beautiful city of Budapest, it captures all the drama, romance and glamour of these exquisite gowns.

About the Collection

Gala Collection No. I provides brides with a wide selection of dreamy dresses inspired by romantic capitals around the world. The heart of these romantic cities beat in each design, from scenic rooftops to busy metropolitan streets. Their history give life to modern day love stories, be they classic or dramatic. Each bride can visualize her dream come true in a variety of En Vogue dresses in which comfort is a key element. With the vision of the sunset gleaming over the city's skyline, a story is told within the ornate layering of skirts. Accents of prismatic light are scattered across the dresses using unique crystal beading embroidery, reminiscent of a starry night sky. Modern romance is manifested through a variety of silk chiffon fabrics and soft tulle combined with handmade embellishments. Hints of blush and nude tones create a soft harmony that add an elegant consistency throughout the collection. An array of form-fitting fabrics complete each dress, highlighting the silhouette of the signature Galia Lahav bride.

Aren't they just incredible? While they're still not budget wedding dresses (they'll cost $5000-7000) they are half the price of many Galia Lahav bridal gowns, and, having seen both collections in person, you really would not notice the difference in fit or quality.

While they perhaps don't have quite the same level of detailing all over the gowns, the beaded bodices or embellished focal points are just as skillfully crafted as the couture collection.

P.S. How awesome does Budapest look, this makes me want to go back!
