Sweet 4th of July Weddingwith Sequins & Sparklers

We're finishing out our real weddings this week with Natalie & Michael's super sweet celebration.

As a wedding planner herself, Natalie has an eye for the details, and took it in her stride planning their big day in only six months - just in time for the 4th of July.

And we're so delighted to share their special day, captured so beautifully by Forever Photography Studio.

With a cool garden ceremony and warehouse-style reception, Natalie & Michael found the perfect venue in The Union on Eighth in Georgetown, Texas.

With the help of some talented Austin wedding vendors, the couple decked out their space with luxe florals, gold touches, and a pretty sensational wedding cake.

With their cute pooch in toe, this adorable bride and groom, and their fabulous bridal party (we're LOVING the bridesmaids in gold sequins!) got the 4th of July festivities underway, with a seriously chic bang.

Our Love Story

Michael and I met early on in college through mutual friends, and were familiar acquaintances for several years. I always thought he was super handsome and mysterious, but we didn't start actually spending time together until circumstances aligned in a couple of ways. In 2013, two of our best friends married one another, and then they fell off the face of the planet for a while in newlywedded bliss, so all of a sudden we both found ourselves with a lot of free time and no one in particular to spend it with, so we naturally started hanging out. I had just started attending a new church where I didn't know anyone, and the second time I visited, to my surprise, Michael was there too. We had both gotten the recommendation to check it out from the same mutual friend without realizing it, and between that and our friends temporarily disappearing, we started spending a lot of time together. We went to concerts, went swimming at Barton Springs, and sampled all the amazing food trucks that Austin has to offer. Because we had known each other for so long, our relationship progressed quickly as we kind of got to skip the getting-to-know-you phase, and we started officially dating early in 2014. About a year later, Michael and I went on a long road trip to visit both of our families for the holidays. He said spending all that time together and the conversations we had on that trip made him know he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me, and he bought a ring and proposed the next day. I was shocked, but so excited, and being a wedding planner myself, took on the task of planning a wedding in six months so it could take place on . I grew up in St. Louis, and the is a big deal there. I have the best memories of going to Fair St. Louis, watching the air shows, going to Cardinals games, watching free concerts, and of course the incredible fireworks show over the river right near the Arch. It was such a perfect day to get married on and we loved every second of it.

Fourth of July weddings always look so fun - it's like New Year's Eve, all your guests are already in the mood for a good time! I love those rich tones in the florals, with the gold details, so beautiful. And how gorgeous is the back on Natalie's dress?

Thanks so much to Forever Photography Studio, and of course, Natalie & Michael for sharing their wonderful wedding with us.
