Our 10 Favourite Engagement Rings from Joseph Jewellery

Our 10 Favourite Engagement Rings from Joseph Jewellery

via

Over the past couple of month's we've been teaming up with our friends at Joseph Jewelry to bring you some gorgeous engagement ring inspiration.

We shared their take on the top ring trends for 2016, and we brought you our guide to everything you need to know about buying a custom ring.

Today though, I thought I'd share with you a few of my favourite picks from their collection (Claire here, BTW!) because well, swooning over rings is pretty fun, and I also really wanted to highlight the variety of choices on offer when you opt for a custom ring.

Choosing a custom ring with Joseph Jewelry means not only can you design your dream ring (for yourself or your other half) but you can be involved in the story of it from start to finish.

You'll have something that's not only beautiful and meaningful, but truly personal on your hand forever.

The process couldn't be easier (check out our post explaining how it all works), but of course, it all starts with the inspiration.

As quite a magpie (I'm obsessed with all things gold and sparkly!) I figured I'd help you find ideas for your perfect ring, by sharing a few of my very favourite picks from the Joseph Jewelry site.

All these rings are 100% customisable, so you can take the setting from one, the stones from another, and then swap gold for platinum and a pink sapphire for a blue one.

I'm getting excited just thinking about the bejewelled possibilities!

1. A Simple Solitaire

Solitaire rings may not have been as popular in recent years, but there's something just so classic and statement about a plain band and a single stone.

Choose your gem extra carefully if you're going for a solitaire, and think about the metal choice and finish for your band too. This polished rose gold and oval cut moissanite ring is such a gorgeous pairing.

2. Double the Statement

If you're searching for a ring with serious sparkle, but that's also pretty unique, I think this one is up to the task.

The combination of pear and marquise cut diamonds is so unusual, and when added to the diamonds set in both the front and sides of the band, this is one of those rings that will glisten from all the way across the room!

3. Art Deco Elegance

I'll 'fess up - I love this ring because it reminds me of my own engagement ring. But it is pretty gorgeous, right?

The fabulous art deco pairing of the baguette sides and centre stone is so eye-catching, it's an unusual take on the classic halo trend, and really catches the light on your finger!

4. Beauty in the Band

This ring instantly caught my eye on the Joseph Jewelry website, the filigree-style hand-engraved band with the turquoise stones is so bohemian and eclectic.

This is the kind of ring you could imagine being passed down generations, an instant classic with a beautiful princess cut diamond to set it off.

5. A Rose Gold Trio

Three stone rings are so chic, and a great way to get extra sparkle in your ring without making it too fussy. But I think it's the rose gold band that makes me love this one so much!

Yellow gold can sometimes look a little harsh next to white stones, so if you're a gold wearer, this is the perfect solution - so romantic and pretty, don't you think?

6. Antique Emeralds

If you've always dreamed of a vintage-style wedding ring, this one is sure to take your fancy, almost as much as it's taken mine!

There's something so luxurious about emeralds, they add a real touch of class to an engagement ring. And this setting with its bullet shaped diamonds to the side, sparkling halo, and barely-there milgrain finish would be an elegant addition to any ring finger.

7. A Bit of Blush

There's no piece of jewellery quite as romantic as a morganite engagement ring - the soft blush hue kind of reminds me of pink Champagne (a must-have after you pop the question BTW!).

This ring is the perfect example of how to give morganite a grown-up, sophisticated twist, with its diamond halo and rose gold band. One of those rings that's chic and current, yet won't date any time soon.

8. Two Tone Vintage

If you're trying to replicate a family ring, having one custom made is such a great solution, rather than spending time trying to track down something similar. How beautiful is this 1940s estate ring by Joseph Jewelry?

This two-tone effect is so classic and a gorgeous way to set off diamonds, while the milgrain finish at the edges makes this one a ready-made heirloom.

9. Fun & Glamour

Buying an item as precious (and expensive) as an engagement ring can seem like serious business, but if you (or your other half) as a real fun side, then you should absolutely embrace that in your ring.

We just love how the bright pink sapphires add such a sense of glamour and fun to this radiant cut diamond. This one is more like a cocktail ring than a classic engagement ring, so it's definitely for someone with bold tastes. I love it!

10. Ultra Modern

We're all for vintage engagement rings, but there's something so beautiful and sophisticated about this modern emerald cut ring, don't you think?

I love enamel and ceramic detail on rings, and the black ceramic halo transforms this one into a piece that's so contemporary and unique - it totally makes the diamond pop too.

So there you have it, just a few of my favourite engagement rings from Joseph Jewelry, but don't forget, you can have your own sparkler customised however you want it.
