I am just going to go slightly off topic here and ask if any of you saw The Walking Dead last night? Oh. My. Goodness. The Govenor was bad enough but Negan is just unbelievable. Absolutely blinding end to the series and what a cliff hanger! I haven't stopped thinking about it! If you guys are wondering what the hell I am talking about then you need to get involved in what I think is the best show on TV. I know everyone raves about Breaking Bad but The Walking Dead is in a league of its own. It's so so good and continues to deliver. The 6th series ended last night and I think it was the best season finale in the show so far. If you haven't seen any of the series then definitely start with series 1 - you have to too understand the importance of series 6 and its ending. Bring on Series 7!!!

Hold your ceremony by a gorgeous meandering river or by a crystal clear stream in private and secluded woodland. Party in the wedding field and enjoy the stunning panoramic views of the wild moorlands, lush hay meadows and surrounding woodland. There is plenty of space for a tipi, pole tent or marquee and the venue also offers a camping meadow with room for 100 of your guests and luxury stone barn cottage accommodation for up to 10 people

Situated close to an idyllic lake with the green valley of Upper Wharfedale as its backdrop, this open hay meadow surrounded by traditional Dales stone walls offers the perfect space for you to pitch your tipi, canvas pole tent, yurt or marquee. The space can comfortably accommodate 180 people and the camping and self-catering stone barn accommodation is a short walk away.

Fish and chips using locally reared rainbow trout? Grassland-fed beef? Dales lamb from the next door field? This venue comes with the option of using their amazing award winning catering services. All of their food is either sourced from the estate itself or from local produce.

If you already have a caterer in mind but would still like to use the local produce then the venue can supply your caterer with everything they need.
