A pop of stylish citrus 💛

It's official - citrus weddings are in! Photographer Kaitlyn de Villiers and hair and make up stylist Almari teamed up to create a vibrant, fresh, wedding inspiration shoot incorporating this fun and fabulous trend. "We wanted to create a crisp, citrus-inspired wedding shoot. We love the colour of grapefruit and that became the basis for our shoot concept. The magnificent gardens from Hohenhort cellars were the perfect backdrop."

Their strong citrus colour palette was inspired by bright grapefruits, limes, melons and yellow lemons, contrasted against soft fabrics, gentle blooms and romantic textures. Connies Cakery designed an delightful fondant wedding cake made up of citrus shaded ombre ruffles, and My pretty vintage styled a table simply popping with colour!

Liezl of floral art created lush flower arrangements, working with berries for texture, and soft pink peonies to contrast the rich citrus shades. The cheerful, brush lettered wedding stationery from Pretty in Stains added the final touches to the tablescape, bringing everything to life. So much prettiness!
