Cute Women's Sundresses for Summer from Nordstrom | The Realest

Why should models have all the fun? Each month we're finding a "real woman"-i.e., of any shape and size-and giving her the model treatment in The Realest. We bring the wardrobe, stylist, photographer, makeup artist and blog editor-she brings her anything-but-one-size-fits-all personality and style-and we all head out on location for an IRL photo shoot to showcase our monthly Dress Spotlight.

Go ahead and just try to keep up with Tiffany Lowry. As a freelance hair and makeup artist, Tiffany juggles running between beautifying clients at her chair in a downtown spa, dishing out her encyclopedic beauty knowledge on TV, traveling as the image director for a cable sports network, oh, and working on the imminent launch of her very own app-plus being a mom. We have no idea how she managed to take a day away from it all to get gorgeous in some of our favorite summer daydresses. But we're so glad she did. You couldn't ask to hangout with a more energetic, enthusiastic and on-top-of-her-game human being. A woman with an irrepressible spirit who clearly loves what she does, every single person in our crew that day came away with genius tips and beauty product recommendations; we can't wait for that app!

On work and play: I've been doing hair and makeup professionally since 1997-for regular real life and for TV, editorials, weddings, short films and advertising. I'm also a beauty expert for Fox 13 morning news where I chat with the hosts during a live segment.

I'm also an image director for Root Sports, and I oversee hair and make-up needs and dialing in the talents' (anchors') look on-air. That includes everything from helping with beauty and grooming choices to things like finding better glasses and making sure my clients always look their best on the job-even if they're ill.

Right now, I've also been hosting a very new beauty live stream for a company called Strobe and am creating a beauty app (launching July 1st) called Tiffany Colors. It will recommend the beauty and grooming products you should own, which I have tested and think are amazing! It will help cut down your shopping trip and wasting money with a beauty expert (me!) in your pocket. I am a product testing junkie, so I am always scouting for the next IT product...that actually works.

For extra fun, I love planning and going on Glamping trips. I have the most badass reclining camping chair complete with an SPF 50 umbrella and a cooler, cup holder and magazine holder all built into the arm.

Note: I also have a weird addiction and love for Popular Science and Discover magazines.

Best part of my job: Watching people look at themselves in the mirror and seeing that they are feeling and looking like their best self in the reflection.

Also, keeping my schedule busy, challenging and changing stretches my scope. One day I'll be cutting and coloring clients' hair, the next I am flying to Colorado for my sports anchors and the following I'm working on an editorial. The change is refreshing.

My beauty philosophy: "Feel beautiful; live beautifully." Clearing your head space and reclaiming what you want to see. I meet so many people who feel they can't have long hair, short hair, wear red lipstick, wear foundation, etc, and, at the end of our consultation, I finally get to why that is.

Usually, I find someone in their life told them they couldn't or shouldn't or even should but my client didn't like the person. People get stuck on that negative feeling, and it replays itself like a broken record. Part of what I can do is help a person shake that off and try that red lip on or rethink what is a definite 'no' for them. I mean, it's free to try it on, and then they can say 'YES!' or even 'no'-either way, at least it was their choice. 🙂

Her favorite beauty products:

Touche Éclat le teint radiance awakening foundation SPF 22. It's super light, and it wears like a sheer tint but with a glow and amazing coverage. I wore this on our shoot!

Mario Badescu drying cream, for those blemishes that pop up when you have a big day the next morning!

Lancôme juicy shakers. These are super sheer (think popsicle stain on lips) and fun to apply with their soft spongy tip. Plus, the bi-phase lip oil gives amazing shine and hydration with no stick! Mangoes wild is a must have.

Charlotte Tilbury cheek to chic swish & pop blush. Blush is a must. It looks amazing on all skin types, and I love the color love is the drug.

And a couple drug store finds: YES cucumber make-up removing wipes and Sally Hansen double duty top and bottom coat clear nail polish.

On her personal style and favorite things in her closet: I'd call my style 'mismatched with care'. I love print and comfort. I can pull 13-hour days, and I need easy-to-move-in clothing. And I love a cozy, cool-looking jacket!

Topshop black Joni jeans are my go-to; I have 8 pairs, and I keep getting new ones when the others need to be donated due to fade.

Black patent leather waterproof wedge sneakers with velcro and a pressed wool forest green cape zip-up jacket that I can toss over literally any outfit when it is chilly.

Oh! And fit and flare dresses with pockets. A dress with pockets is the best ever-somewhere to put my lipstick and phone! I have many for summer. Floral print is a 'yes, please,' and the flare skirt let's me not wear Spanx.

Favorite looks of the day: The off-the-shoulder fuchsia dress. We all have fantastic shoulders, and showing a little shoulder is a trend we can all get on board with! The straw hat and straw bag were an effortless match that would make anyone look super pulled together-even just for running errands.

I also loved the sparkly SJP shoes...I felt like Dorthy in the Wizard of Oz! I wanted to take them home and wear them with a pair of boyfriend jeans and a T-shirt. They wear super comfortable and just the right height.
