When the Met calls, Olivia Kim answers.

In advance of all the recent red carpet and gala excitement around the Costume Institute's Manus x Machina debut, the museum team reached out and asked our VP of Creative Projects (and SPACE and Pop-In mastermind) to step in and help them curate the gift shop portion of fashion's favorite new exhibit.

Olivia Kim gets ready for the Met Gala in a dress by SPACE designer Molly Goddard

As a walk-the-talk champion of emerging and advanced designers, Olivia hooked three of her favorite SPACE brands up with the Met so that after you stroll through the show, you can go home with a wearable souvenir.

The exhibit opens in Manhattan on May 5, and as of May 10, very special pieces from Simone Rocha, Marques'Almeida and will await visitors and fans.

"Exhibition shops are one of my favorite parts of visiting the Met Museum," said Olivia via official Met press release, "and I love bringing new talent and ideas to retail."

Win-win, right?

Ditto the killer ensemble our VP rocked at the gala: a dress from emerging British designer Molly Goddard and a CHANEL bag. Oh, and her beloved dog Spy.
