Hello I'm Justine and I run Dainty Dizzy from our studio in beautiful (sometimes sunny!) Cornwall.

My business keeps me pretty busy but I also have a young family and husband to look after - as well as our loveable dog Dasher and feisty cat Silves.

All in all life is very full but when I do get some free time it can incorporate a dog walk on a windy Cornish beach, reading a page-turning novel, swimming to keep fit and opening up Mary Berry for some baking !

I love folk and blues so if I could get up to Yorkshire for the Beverley Festival in June to see Kate Rusby that would be amazing! But looking at my schedule quite doubtful....

It was a lifestyle change that led to the beginnings of Dainty Dizzy. We had moved to Cornwall through my husbands job and having spent 15 years in the advertising industry in London I was not really relishing the thought of a long distance job commute whilst juggling the needs of young children.

I began to realise that I could maybe mix my digital marketing background with my passion for textiles and start my own business. The girls wear aspect came about because I simply could not find any truly "special" occasion outfits for my (then) 2 year old daughter to wear to a friends wedding. Everything seemed to come from America and I wanted more of a British quirky style. So I made my daughters tulle based dress myself. This sparked my whole line of tulle inspired collections.

When it comes to choosing a flower girl outfit we know that our bridal customers have a plethora of great wedding fashion brands to choose from. But our little outfits are unique in the UK market not only in terms of their quality and quirky design but also because with Dainty Dizzy you can fully customise your flower girl dresses to fully match your wedding theme or colour.

You can also have your outfits made to measure so they fit your little bridesmaids perfectly as our skilled team designs and makes all our bridal outfits to order in our studio in Cornwall. Many customers approach us with a "I don't suppose you can..?" question, and it is our pleasure to (almost always) reply "Yes"!

Our lovely flower girl outfits are just part of what we offer. The personalised, tailor made service that comes before the product is actually delivered is just as important. To us, making sure our brides (and mother of brides) are 100% happy with our communication and service is just as important as the product itself. Taking the some of the stress of the big day away from our customers is our pleasure.

One of our favourite weddings was actually one of our first. We had the absolute pleasure of supplying eight flower girl skirts to a "rock wedding" theme! We worked with the bride to decide what type of design was the most appropriate given her theme and came up with the idea of our "festival skirts". Soft tulle tutu skirts made in bright rainbow colours and trimmed with sparkly sequins. Ultra funky!

The bride was super to work with and really knew what she was looking for but did need our help in making the final design choice. Fun to design and very fun to make!

It's their big day and their ideas need to be respected and worked with. Very often the first instinct is the correct instinct and we would really encourage this whilst suggesting some design ideas, a few tweaks and practicalities to help formulate their wishes into a reality. We would work hard to deliver a service that communicated to them at every stage from brief to delivery. We take the pressure off and ensure that the purchase of their little flower girl outfits is both fun and exciting whilst the end product is simply stunning.
