Afternoon Lovely Peeps,

I hope you all had a good long weekend.

We have a very relaxed and chilled styled bridal shoot to share with you today.

Aimed at inspiring brides to not be afraid to incorporate their own personalities and style into their wedding day, Adriana Marie Events along with Kate Ann Photography wanted to create a unique shoot that focused on those precious and rare few moments before a bride walks down the aisle. A time that is just for her where she can be herself, gather her thoughts and enjoy that incredible feeling that comes with being a bride....

Imagine the bohemian bride with a passion for music escaping to a bohemian oasis in the woods to capture her true, edgy beauty before her wedding day sweeps her off her feet.

Quite often a bride can get swept up in the last stages of planning that they forget to make time for themselves in the weeks leading up to their wedding. Before they know it, their day is here and they haven't been able to take a breath to appreciate it. What we love the most about this shoot is it reminds us that it is so important for a bride to take sometime out for herself, especially on the morning of her wedding day. That way she can take it all in, enjoy her dress and lap up that feeling of 'this is it!'

Adriana talks us through the shoot and how it all came together....

I created this shoot environment for the not so typical bride, and hoped to inspire brides to incorporate their personality, hobbies, and a non-traditional bridal look into a portrait session. I thought of the few weeks before the aisle, and how a bride will soon make a huge life change. Having a few photos of herself in her true element before she walks down the aisle to meet her other half would be a true blessing!

The story behind the shoot stemmed from the models love for music as she is a singer and song writer. We wanted to use personal items to show how a bridal portrait session can truly speak of personality, which led us to the incorporation of her guitar and her grandmothers vintage record player. I also wanted to show some creative ways to use florals which I brought in through decking out the beautiful guitar and record player in organic blooms. I hope to inspire couples to not be afraid to incorporate their personalities and story into their wedding day!
