I've spoken about my love for diffusing essential oils a number of times to you guys before: the many health benefits, topical usage, my love for diffusers etc etc. You know the drill! So, on a trip to our local garden centre earlier this year, when my beau and I stumbled across the camomile plants, needless to say I bought one and was super stoked about it!

And now it's harvest time! My plant is constantly producing gorgeous little daisy-like flowers which, when fully bloomed, I reluctantly (they're so pretty!) pluck from their stems and set on a paper towel to dry out. If you babes don't already own a camomile plant, take a walk in your nearest patch of countryside - I don't know about where you guys are, but here in the Midlands, the farmer's tracks and field footpaths I walk my hound along are laden with camomile which (Shh! Don't tell any one!) I have been know to forage from time to time!

There are so many different ways to use calming camomile: from making camomile tea, to incorporating this edible plant into summery ice lolly/cream recipes... I've chosen to dry my camomile flowers and infuse sweet almond oil with them to apply topically, which I'm super stoked to have created from fresh, straight outta my garden (and the local farmer's field, thanks!).

So, for a few months I'd been noticing the subtle addition of a certain style of lamp in many of the home/interior design style images I'd been pinning. It's a blush, crystal style table lamp that I fell head over heels for, perfectly boho while also kinda earthy and minimal... The obsession began.

This has been my go to trend for this year, but especially since the summer hit!
