When it comes to thanking your best ladies for standing by your side on your special day, you want a gift that is both unique and meaningful, and one that your maids can actually use. This rosewater DIY meets all of those qualifications and more! It's so easy to make, and it has almost endless uses. Try it as a hair rinse, a facial toner or a homemade linen spray, or include it in recipes to enhance the flavor of cookies and cocktails.

Ingredients:
Organic Roses (fresh or dried) We recommend using these.
Distilled water

Instructions:
Step No.1: If using fresh petals, remove them from stems and run them under lukewarm water to remove any residue.
Step No.2: Add petals to a large pot and top with enough distilled water to just cover (no more or you'll dilute your rosewater).
Step No.3: Bring the water to a simmer over medium-low heat, and let simmer for about 20 minutes, or until the petals have lost their color.
Step No.4: Strain the water from the petals using a nut milk bag or cheese cloth.

This romantic rose fragrance is absolutely luxurious, and it would make such a wonderful favor at a bridal shower or brunch. Thanks to Elisa Bricker and Mallory Joyce for collaborating with us on this fun DIY. Be sure to check back later today, when they show you how to incorporate your homemade rosewater into a delicious gin cocktail!
