Alexa and Efrain, an American couple, chose to celebrate their wedding in the beautiful town of Taormina on the Italian island of Sicily last October. They organised a two-day celebration in some of the most amazing spots of Taormina with fifty of their closest family and friends. The ceremony itself was held on the top of the ancient borgo of Castelmola, and soon after the civil rite the couple had a fun photo and video session around the streets of the historical centre of Taormina. The day ended with a reception in the beautiful Villa Antonio; with a typical Italian dinner followed by freshly made gelato served on a terrace overlooking the world famous Isola Bella. The reception was accompanied by a jazz quartet that made for a fun, relaxed and elegant feel. Since they are both passionate about wine, the day before the wedding Alexa and Efrain hosted a white party at Gambino Winery on Mt. Etna, and wedding favors included a custom label wine bottle produced by the same winery.
