Woodland Love Story - Polka Dot Bride

We do love a gorgeous woodland setting here at Polka Dot Bride and this sweet styled shoot turned love story made a picture perfect woodland love story.

Photographer Madeleine Chiller teamed up with hair and makeup artist Heather Woll, with a beautiful gown from Lost In Paris Bridal, and sweet pink florals from Mountain Wild and to revisited a spot she had been once before, with the lovely Kait and Andrew.

On what they love about one another, Kait remarks, "We have the same life goals, enjoy the same experiences we seriously make each other laugh all day, everyday!!"

Kait tells their story. "We definitely have a fate story. I went to a cafe for breakfast with a friend and was sitting there when Andrew walked in to meet his friend for breakfast. We spent the whole meal continually looking over at each other's tables. I left the cafe and went home without ever meeting each other. That evening we both happened to have a work function, whilst I was getting ready I honestly thought to myself, 'How cute was that guy in the cafe today'.

Later that evening, we both walked into the charity event and were seated at the same table, one seat away from each other. When the middle person got up from between us, Andrew leant over and said "Excuse me, are you the girl from the cafe this morning?", to which I softly gasped and responded: "was that you?".

We didn't leave each other's side all night and even had an elderly couple who were talking to a group about their 40 years of marriage, turn to us and say "how many years have you two been together?" To which one of us responded "a few" as we winked and laughed together. A few dates later and he had moved in and we've now been happily together for 6 years."

Kait remembers, "Andrew proposed on a JetSki on a secluded island, only to have our whole family and closest friends waiting for us on a boat to celebrate when we returned. It was seriously perfect. The funny part was that we'd forgotten about the tide and had to push a JetSki 50m across dry land together to get back after I'd said yes. We realised then and there that if we passed that challenge then we could conquer anything life threw at us together."
