Winter Multicultural Wedding With A Bold Color Palette - Weddingomania

Winter wedding season is coming up, and it's high time to get inspired by some gorgeous weddings and maybe steal an idea or two for your own big day. Today's wedding is about a couple that belongs to two different cultures, and they pulled off an Indian and Christian ceremony.

The color palette was a cool versatile one: dark burgundy, midnight blue, sage green, and mustard with accents of red + gold for the Indian ceremony.

The reception was designed around the theme "a walk among nature" so they had lots of greenery and wood touches, and nods to national parks throughout. Since it was an entire day-long affair, they had to serve the guests breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The bride was wearing a cool lace separate: a top with short sleeves and a high low skirt and chic burgundy shoes. For the second ceremony she rocked traditional bridal Indian attire. The groom was wearing a black suit and a burgundy tie, and for the Indian ceremony he was wearing a traditional outfit.

For the bridesmaids' looks, the bride worked with her artist pal to create a custom design that could be worn for both ceremonies, and could style the Kashmiri shawls differently for the two looks.

The bridal bouquet was made of eucalyptus, burgundy flowers, garden roses, gold accents, craspedia, golden kans grass, dried lotus root (dipped in gold), amaranth.

This wedding is a nice example of blending two different cultures with sucess and making them look natural.
