Well, being a bit older than the younger married couples, we both decided to give the online dating thing a try. And boy aren't we glad we did. It was definitely meant to be, since, prior to us meeting, we both never believed in online dating. However, for that specific period of time, we were both drawn to that world for some or other reason. Little did we know that the 'some or other reason', was to meet each other. It all happened so quickly. We registered, became compatible, met straight away and the rest, as they say, is history.

It was so romantic. Can you believe that a big, tough guy like Haydn is such a softy. We were in Thailand and went to dinner on the beach at a resort. We took a short walk and stumbled upon a bottle that was half buried in the sand. Little did I know that Haydn had buried this bottle earlier that day. Inside the bottle was a message from a previous-life Haydn to a previous-life Desiree, stating that he would find me in every single lifetime. Tears were everywhere (mostly his) and what made it more special was seeing 2 bunnies in the resort. We call each other 'love bunny', so this was a special sign for us.

Enjoy the process. Focus on your marriage, not your wedding. Remember why you are having a wedding... so that you can be married to the love of your life forever. No matter what goes wrong with the wedding planning or the wedding day, if at the end of the day, you are married to the man of your dreams, you will have everything you want and it will be a perfect day.
