Joe & Sanri's Wedding - Wedding Friends

Today we are sharing the work of Salt 'n Pepper Photography. Sanri and Joe had their wedding at Imperfect Perfection, and what a perfect location it was for this pretty wedding!

Lovebirds | How did you two meet?

We met through mutual friends in High School, dated for a while and lost touch for about 6years. We made contact again, through the same friend's Facebook page. We talked for a while, one day my sister stole my phone and invited him over to our house. I was so embarrassed. And from the first time we say it other, LOVE was in full bloom again... and the rest, as they say, is history!

I said Yes | How did the proposal go down?

We have a monthly date night, but this night he went ALL OUT. Candles, flowers and cooking. Had me sit down at a beautiful table and blindfolded me before each dish. Knowing full well that I take a while to focus in the dark. The last course, was a BEAUTIFULLY decorated desert. At first I thought he made scribbles around the plate in Chocolate, when I finally focused, I realised that he wrote..."Gogga. Sal jy met my trou?" I looked up and he had moved and was sitting next to me with the ring box.

The Big Day | What was the most memorable moment of your wedding day?

Bride : When I walked into the chapel and I saw him crying.
Groom: Our first dance, we had practiced so hard on. It was magical.

Describe your wedding day in one sentence

It was a true fairy-tale, a whimsical fun and perfect day!

Forever & Always | Any advice for future brides?

Make sure all your things are planned and ready at least a week before the big day. Take a relaxing day with your hubby-to-be the day before your wedding. And don't sweat the small stuff. If all the big things are done, relax. No one will ever know all the little things you had planned or that didn't happen. And having a planner or at least a coordinator at the venue, the day of your wedding is always a great big YES!
