Three-Day Moroccan-Inspired Wedding in Joshua Tree: The Wedding!

Three-Day Moroccan-Inspired Wedding in Joshua Tree: The Wedding!

via

Did you see Part 1 of this Moroccan-inspired wedding adventure in Joshua Tree this morning? If not, you should definitely check out all the awesome details of their Rehearsal Dinner in Pioneertown, then head back here for some more fun! :) Meet Sarah + Garrett, the dynamic designers who have an endless love for adventure and all things eclectic. The duo headed out to Le Haute Desert Aerie for a three-day glamping adventure; with the help of the team of Pow Wow Design Studio, the itinerary for the weekend was filled with activities, such as restorative yoga in the morning and live music + dancing! The main house on the property features Moroccan, Indian and Tibetan architectural influences + artwork, so the couple decided to run with that - after all, it complemented the desert scene! With vast views of the desert, a 70s themed pool party in Palm Springs and so many cool elements (guests "signed in" by hand-painting their signature + message on a huge rock that led to the ceremony), we're pretty in love with this whole weekend!

The couple shares with us a little about the inspiration for their big day... We wanted to capture the feeling you get when you're just a small person in nature, dancing to music, and creating art. We really saw our wedding as a week-long installation of sorts. It definitely took on a music festival feeling!

Let's head out to the desert to see all the details captured by Kelsea Holder!

Isn't this invitation suite rockin'?! Especially with the "Love Fest" geode card and the cactus accents! It was all created by the bride!

LOVE these black + white floral getting ready robes from Nasty Gal!!

Sarah absolutely stuns in her Claudette dress by A La Robe from Loho Bride.

How gorgeous is the back of Sarah's dress, especially when paired with that draping necklace?!

Those bridesmaid dresses are by one of our faves, Show Me Your Mumu! How much do you love the different cuts + styles, but all in the same soft teal color?

The coolest!!

So pretty!!

We're digging the groom's bow tie + desert-inspired boutonnière. His suit is from Zara + his shoes are from ASOS.

The ceremony site was lined with Persian rugs, that led to a beautiful arch surrounded by cairns (human-made pile of stones), which were adorned with greenery.

Recessional: Same as Processional

*HEART EYES*

How seriously perfect is this? And those pops of light teal!!

Love, love love!

Gold metal accents complemented the warmth of the desert and the layered, textured, mixed metal look transitioned into the reception décor. Himalayan salt blocks were added, along with an assortment of feathers + textiles, from Pow Wow Design Studio and Planks & Patina.

The centerpieces were a mix of rocks, gems, terrariums, and blooms, set atop a soft, delicate fabric.

S + G, you two are the CUTEST!!

We love the simplicity of the three-tiered cake by Exquisite Desserts, especially with the added greenery.

Everything about this setup is just perfect! And that two person peacock chair!!

Leading into the couple's first dance, all the guests were given sparklers and lit a path to the dance floor. All levels of the venue were lit by their loved ones as they danced the night away. So sweet!!

Aren't they just darling? A huge congratulations to the two of you!!
