It's a great day when Gabby from En Route Photography sends a beautiful wedding our direction and today is one such day! This truly breathtaking Catalonia Wedding held at El Convent de Blanes is a showstopper, with beautiful details like a ribbon ceremony backdrop, miniature globe table names and cute signage adding to the sweeping views over the ocean offered at this really unique wedding venue.

From Gabby

"Nathalie and Kevin, both residents of California, decided to head back to her home country of Spain to celebrate their fairytale wedding day with family and friends in Catalonia. Knowing that planning a wedding from so so far away would be a tricky, they enlisted the help of Bodas de Cuento, who helped make the their vision of an unforgettable wedding by the sea a reality. The team at Bodas de Cuento not only helped find and organise all the vendors, but they made the entire process easy, fun and just wonderful! The bride and groom were beaming with excitement from the moment they started getting ready. Nathalie wore an Allure Bridal gown that perfectly complimented her jewellery, mint shoes and romantic, pastel-coloured bouquet. She also added a very special and personal touch to her look as the fabric flowers in her hair, and in the groom's boutonniere, were made out of her mother's, grandmother's and mother-in-law's old wedding dresses. The ceremony venue had stunning views of the Mediterranean sea and was the perfect intimate setting for their wedding as it was a beautiful reflection of them as a couple and their families' mixed cultures. Thousands of hydrangeas made the outdoor space feel magical while the guests enjoyed cocktails and appetisers with a breathtaking sunset view. Mint chargers, pastel-coloured flowers, endless candles, gold accents and hand-painted globes (made by the bride) continued the romantic feel for the reception setup. The couple's families' cultures were again represented when a traditional Spanish flamenco group played during the reception and then a Bollywood dancing group got everyone up their seats and led them to the dancing floor for the fun to continue. Dancing until the late hours of the night with all their loved ones, it was a fantastic celebration."
