DIY Silk Flower Hoop Bouquet

DIY Silk Flower Hoop Bouquet

via

Spring is right around the corner and we are so excited for all the pretty blooms to come! With that in mind, we paired up with our favorite silk flower company, Afloral, to keep on trend with all the fun hoops we've been seeing (and because these blooms will never die!). This one is specifically for your bridesmaids to hold down the aisle in place of a bouquet, but could also be used as a pretty backdrop piece or even in your home! Here's how we did it...

What You'll Need:
* Silk flowers from AFloral. We went with a few greens for fillers and then colorful Spring tones like ranunculus, tulips, garden roses and more. Find more products we used on this curated page on Afloral.com
* Gold Hoop (we found metal ones from Hobby Lobby and then spray painted them gold)
* Floral wire
* Hot glue gun

Step 1: Start with your greenery and trim small pieces. Form around your hoop to see where you would like the shape to take place. Secure with floral wire. Continue this step until you reach the desired fullness.
Step 2: Start with your largest focal flower and hot glue gun down onto your hoop/greenery.
Step 3: Fill in with your secondary flowers (like tulips and garden roses). The best tip here is to lay them ahead of time to see where they will look best, then glue them down/secure.
Step 4: Finish off with a few more filler greens (we loved the asymmetrical look so we added more near the bottom left).

We love this floral hoop paired with our Green Wedding Shoes x Show Me Your Mumu Kendall Maxi Dress ...

Super sweet, right?!

If you make your own Floral Hoop with AFloral using these steps or supplies, we'd love to see how it turns out, so please share on Instagram along with the hashtag #GreenWeddingShoesDIY. We'll regram our faves!
