Just in time for your music festival and vacation wardrobe needs, Nordstrom is hosting an exclusive pop-up shop featuring See by Chloé's spring/summer collection. Unveiling at our Aventura (Florida), Michigan Avenue (Chicago) and Downtown Seattle locations, these boutiques-within-stores showcase the romantic shapes and cascading fabrics of the season, as well as several Nordstrom-exclusive designs (including a floral bell-sleeve dress, a darling denim romper, an embroidered dress and a striped jersey top).

You can shop the collection online, but if you're in the vicinity of any of these stores, you'll definitely want to visit, especially if you're in the Chicago area. This Thursday, March 23, from 5pm to 7pm, the store will be throwing a See by Chloé Pop-Up Launch Party. Stop by to shop amid a scene featuring a DJ, a mixologist station with signature cocktails, passed appetizers and sweets, Minx nail artists, and a See by Chloé pouch with purchase, as well as Always Judging 's blogger Courtney Trop, who will be styling shoppers. Whew!

We took this exciting opportunity to connect with Courtney about her style blog, personal aesthetic, where to hang out in L.A. and where she'll wear the new See by Chloé designs. Read on to learn about the hot spots.

How would you describe your personal style?

I like to dress with ease, but I also like to stand out. I want to be the girl at the party with the cool sequin jacket that everyone is talking about-conversation pieces, if you will. Those are what make me get dressed in the a.m. or at night. A good conversation piece will change your life.

My style is changing and evolving into something different every day, but I really enjoy pieces from the '80s, and flouncy white lace and chiffon dresses that have vintage energy. I wear them in a more masculine way, instead of making them over-the-top feminine. It's easier to say what I'm not than to explain what my style is.... I'm definitely not super girly; I like to think my style has an edge to it.

What is your favorite thing about See by Chloé's latest collection?

I like the ease this collection specifically embodies, the flouncy dresses and lacy chiffon layers. There's basically no thought process behind throwing one of these pieces on. See by Chloé has done all the hard work and made your life easy by designing a collection with ease that practically goes with anything and can morph to so many different tastes in style and different body types.

In addition to being a fashion fan, you're really into music. What are some of your favorite bands right now?

All-time faves: Hall & Oates, Fleetwood Mac, LCD Soundsystem, Two Door Cinema Club, STRFKR, Future Islands, Zero 7, Toro y Moi, M83, Beach House, Chromatics, Wild Nothing, Bag Raiders, Tame Impala.

I like a lot more DJ's also ... but I'll save that for next time.

What's the last concert you went to?

Rüfüs du Sol in L.A.

What do you wear to concerts?

I like to dress for comfort. I normally wear some sort of chiffon dress with a bit of a vintage feel alongside combat boots. Something I can dance around and move easily in throughout the day or night! Also, I'm into simple black jeans and a black tee with combat boots.

To what kind of concert would you wear the new See by Chloé collection?

Definitely a summer festival, Coachella or any of the Euro festivals. I feel like this collection just screams daytime, summer sun, music festival vibes.

Do you have any styling tips for the collection? How do you wear off-the-shoulder shirts? Denim rompers?

My personal style has somewhat of an edge, although I do enjoy chiffon layers and more feminine pieces. Since I like to stay true to my edge I would pair a lot of the pieces with combat boots or something a little grungy. The denim romper I would 100% wear with the metallic lace-up heeled sandals that Chloé did this season!

Where are your favorite places to see a show in L.A.? Any other favorite places to hang out in your city?

I like to hang out in Silver Lake. I go to all the restaurants over there, hang out and have rosé at Cafe Stella. I get drinks at Black Cat and have Mexican at El Condor. The flea market on Saturdays in Silver Lake is amazing for vintage right off Sunset. I get Italian and hang out at Marvin with my friends on the weekend a lot! I like to hang out in the park in Echo Park. I like to get coffee at Shaky Alibi and I hang out a lot at Erewhon -they have the best juice and tonic bar in L.A., and a hot bar. Erewhon is def the most popular hangout spot in L.A.; you'll see 50 people you know hanging out on the benches eating outside, being healthy.
