Spring Brunch Entertaining Ideas

Spring Brunch Entertaining Ideas

via

Earlier this week we were honored to attend this lovely brunch hosted by Target and Camille Styles. Camille is Target's brand new entertaining guru and she was showing off their newest spring collection from Threshold (so much goodness you guys!!) along with some tips on making your next brunch super pretty.

And ALL the pieces you see in this feature are from Target and available now! We've highlighted + linked to them in this post so you can go ahead and order for your upcoming Easter Brunch, next dinner party - or just around your home. :) We've already order a bunch of the vases and chargers for next week!!

Camille was also sweet enough to share some of her tips + tricks for springtime entertaining, so let's see how we can make our next party wow a bit more!

1. Add an interactive element

For this brunch, Camille set up the prettiest DIY Yogurt Bar - yogurt, granola, fruit and honey to drizzle on top! Super easy and it was a fun way to start the brunch and chat with guests. Other ideas for an interactive element include a self-serve cocktail bar or a build-your-own taco table - YUM!

2. Pick a palette

Camille says, For maximum impact with minimal effort, choose a color palette and stick to it throughout every element of the decor, from the entrance to the cocktail to the table centerpiece. Determining your color palette before you begin to shop for decorations will help you achieve a well-edited selection of pieces that you'll look forward to unpacking year-after-year.

3. Bring Nature In

Bring organic elements into your tabletop design like flowers, greenery, fruit and berries. When paired with a colorful runner, stoneware plates and woven napkins, it really pulls the table together!

Who else wants all those vases - oh, and those woven chargers!!

4. Start with the Menu

I love to let the season inspire what food I'm going to serve. Springtime is brimming with beautiful fruits and vegetables, so those ingredients will make appearances on my spring menus and inspire a farm-to-table vibe with my décor, too.

And I loved all the new pillows + rugs that just launched! Perfect to give your home a bit of an update for spring + summer. :)

We also asked Camille, what's one entertaining myth you'd like to clear up?

It's a myth that more effort equals a better party. I see so many hosts trying to incorporate too many little details that can easily get lost in the mix. Keep it streamlined and remember that as long as there's delicious food, killer cocktails and great music, it's going to be a good party.

We couldn't agree more! Thanks for sharing your tips today Camille, and hope this helps inspire you guys for your upcoming Easter brunch or next party!
