Late Autumn Wedding with Overflowing Florals + a Touch of Glitz

Late Autumn Wedding with Overflowing Florals + a Touch of Glitz

The grounds at Terrain in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania make for one dreamy setting... From the restored barn, their outdoor wedding temple, to all the seasonal florals! When Cassi and Eric saw it, they knew it would be PERFECT for the timeless feeling they wanted their wedding to have. Upon booking Terrain as the venue, Cassi immediately started looking for an antique crystal chandelier - she found one on Etsy! - and it ended up being the first piece they purchased for the wedding. She shares We basically worked the rest of the decor and color palette around it, not really even knowing it at first. It was perfect, and now we'll always have it as an heirloom from that day.

When we first started planning with designer, Oleander Curated, we all agreed that the actual wedding ceremony should be about US, and for US. I think for awhile, wedding ceremonies were getting the cheap end of the deal, and couples focused too much on the party afterwards. Eric and I had been together for almost 7 years already, so that step we were taking, meant a lot to us, and we really wanted it to feel that way.

Let's see how the late autumn color palette, with a touch of glitz played out in the photos by Lauren Fair Photography!

This darling invitation suite by Sandpiper & Co, with its sweet floral wreath and muted color palette, set the mood for the day.

That late autumn floral bouquet by Oleander Curated is seriously stunning!

For me, it was definitely arriving at Terrain with everything we had planned, and bought, and prepped for, all set up. For over a year, I feel like Eric and I discussed so much about everything that had to do with this wedding day. And although we had a pretty good idea of how it would come together, seeing it in person that day was very emotional for me. It was beyond my expectations.

THAT LIGHT and the way her veil wraps around!! Nice work, Lauren Fair Photography.

Cassi looks especially lovely in her off-the-shoulder gown by Lovely Bride.

Dapper groom alert!!

And for a touch of glitz... Check out these sparkling dresses for the 'maids!

SO GLAM.

The lyrics to the song, "Yellow" by Coldplay were on the handmade scroll hanging behind us as we said our vows. All the candles and candelabras surrounding us and the rugs at the end of the aisle made the setting so ethereal and special to us.

Processional: What a Wonderful World cover by OneRepublic

Recessional: Instrumental Cover of Yellow by Coldplay

First Dance: Soldier by Gavin Degraw

The look on both of their faces!! Too cute!

String lights, for the win. How fun are the frames + florals here, too?

Boho-glam, with a touch of rustic... We dig this reception space!

Try to book your venue and photographer ASAP. Also, invest in a really great photographer, because these pictures are setting the tone for a new chapter in your lives, and you want it to look in photos, as good as it feels. I'm pretty sure we contacted Lauren Fair, before we even officially booked the venue. We wanted to make sure they were available for the dates we had in mind. It was by far, one of the best decisions we made. And for couples planning now, I'd tell them not to worry so much about every single detail. I know it's hard not to worry, especially for us control freaks, but ultimately, everything will fall into place as it should. Focus more on the person you get to marry, because it's actually the only thing that matters.

WHAT. A. PHOTO. How incredible was this late autumn wedding?!

Congrats x 1000, Cassi + Eric!!
