I know, I know, I'm back again already but do you know what? Sometimes things are just so good, I can't wait to share them. So today, we're giving a LOT of Festival Brides Love to The Woodland and Secret Walled Garden at Wasing, a dry hire wedding venue that you're going to be crushing on before this feature's finished. We're super happy to have just listed The Woodland and Secret Walled Garden at Wasing in our festival wedding directory - it really is such a special place and the team there will make your day a joy. A joy, I tell you!

Anyway, I'm going to hand you over to Joshua Dugdale, the lucky owner of this fab venue to tell you more...

The team at Wasing is small and friendly. Right from the point of sale we are very personable to our clients as we recognise that their wedding day is the most memorable and special day of their life.

The team always go that extra mile for every wedding, we offer a very personal service with exceptional attention to detail. Nothing is too much trouble.

Our venues and services are extremely flexible and each wedding is bespoke to the needs of the couple.

Oooh, there are three festivals I'd want to go to and all for different reasons. Firstly, I'd pick Camp Bestival because it's good for culture. Then it would have to be Latitude as that's so great for kids and lastly, I'd pick Wilderness for all those middle-class quirks!

The Woodland and Secret Walled Garden at Wasing are dry hire venues and are perfect for couples looking for a bespoke outdoor wedding. Hire of either reception venue includes use of The Folly which is licensed for outdoor civil ceremonies and The Bothy a honeymoon cottage set within the walls of the garden.

Sister to our Wasing Park wedding venue, The Woodland and Secret Walled Garden happened almost by accident after we had an enquiry for a marquee venue and the couple wanted to do everything themselves. This wedding took place in the Secret Walled Garden and then we started receiving requests for venues with a festival feel so we offered the woodland glade.

The eco-friendly Woodland venue is complete with compost loos, a log fire pit, an Asado fire pit and access to water (not drinking water). There is also a stage plus two structures suitable for food service/storage/bar etc. Guests are welcome to camp in the glade.

The Secret Walled Garden is a stunning venue and has various areas within it separated by gravel pathways, hedges or beautiful old walls. It has a York Stone pathway which is lined with scented roses and leads you to the licensed Folly for the ceremony. The main part of the garden has access to power and water (not drinking water). Guests can camp in the orchard the other side of the main west wall.

On the Wasing Estate there is also a farmhouse which may be available and can host up to 12 guests on a self-catering basis.

We have a fantastic list of wedding suppliers including marquee companies, caterers, florists and photographers all who love working at these unique venues, these suppliers are a great asset as the couples are secure in the knowledge that they know the venue and are trusted by the venue.

Woodland weddings have a dreamy, rustic vibe and are guaranteed to amaze your guests.

Set amongst our magical ancient woodland in a leafy glade, this stunning location is perfect for a festival style outdoor wedding. The Woodland wedding venue offers couples a tranquil space for their special day, beneath towering trees and set alongside the stunning 'Ice Pond'. Nestled in the heart of the Estate, this magical venue, truly is an oasis of calm which stimulates the senses.

At the Secret Walled Garden couples can create the wedding of their dreams and keep control of the purse strings!

The garden is suitable for any number of guests, from an intimate affair to a larger reception of 200.

During the planning process our professional and experienced team are always on hand to offer advice and experience to ensure the setup, break down and wedding day runs smoothly. The organisation and planning of the wedding is very much down to the couple, they have control over the suppliers they use and how they are going to design the venue.

Wasing Park woodland bride Christine Halls explains why she chose to hold her wedding in the romantic glade: " Wasing Park was the perfect venue for our woodland themed wedding. From our very first viewing we knew it was absolutely perfect; it was stunning by day with the sun shining through the trees and we knew it would look magical at night. We always wanted to have an outdoor wedding and the dream was to create a 'music festival' feel."

Couples tend to feel at one with the space, they just know immediately when they walk into either venue if it is right for them.

Embrace your surroundings: For that woodland feel, try bunches of fern punctuated with colourful wildflowers. Make signs from wood and eat meat and fish sourced from the estate at Wasing Park.

Dress accordingly: It's important to emphasise the nature of the wedding venue to your guests - this is no place for nine inch heels and huge hats!

Be prepared: Prepare for all weathers and rejoice in what Mother Nature delivers on your special day. Rain doesn't have to be a dampener.

Make a night of it: Encourage your guests to stay over. Tents are a cost-effective accommodation option and glamping will add a bit of luxury to your beautiful woodland setting.

Flexibility is key: We recommend couples choose their perfect wedding venue first before the actual date they wish to get married.

The team is always excited to see what couples will do with the unique spaces in The Woodland and Secret Walled Garden. The options are so vast and we have seen everything from garden games to dodgem cars and inflatable sumo wrestling at the woodland! Photo booths have been created by hanging an assortment of frames from trees; super cool bars have been built using Victorian cast iron baths to keep the bottles on ice and village fete themed weddings with coconut shies, skittles and face painting! Colourful traditional deck chairs to fully fledged sofas have been used for seating in the walled garden, tea lights in jam jars to full on candelabras and some have gone all out with special lighting effects in the woodland. We have even seen a Moroccan-themed wedding with rugs and scatter cushions, tipis with fire pits inside and a silent disco under the stars.

We don't have a quote/motto but we say: Wasing Park is the ultimate exclusive use wedding venue.

A huge Festival Brides thank you to Joshua for that great insight into his gorgeous venue. If you'd like to find out more about The Woodland and Secret Walled Garden at Wasing, hop on over to their website or check out their listing in our festival wedding directory.
