Luxury at the Royalton Blue Waters

Luxury at the Royalton Blue Waters

Recently, I was invited to visit the incredible Royalton Blue Waters in Montego Bay with my fellow Aisle Society ladies Gillian of Coastal Bride and Sara of Burnett's Boards. It was my first time in Jamaica, and I was absolutely bowled over by the turquoise waters, soft sandy beaches, and Jamaican hospitality! The Royalton Blue Waters is a brand new all-inclusive resort, and from the moment we set foot outside customs, every moment was spent in pure luxury. The rooms were some of the most comfortable and technologically advanced accommodations I have ever seen! Each room featured ocean views, rain showers, huge Jacuzzi tubs, charging stations and outlets throughout, and reliable, fast wifi. Oh, and probably the most comfortable bed I have ever experienced. It was basically the perfect room!

This pool was home base for my stay, and I'm unashamed to admit that I spent hours upon hours sitting in a submerged lounger sipping on my favorite poolside cocktail: the Dirty Banana. The staff at the swim-up bar quickly became some of my favorite people! Everyone at the resort was so friendly and kind, and they each took the time to learn guests' names and preferences. In addition to this stunning pool, the beach is picture-perfect, with crystal clear waters and comfy cabanas and lounge chairs. There's a lazy river and full play pool for the kids too! Last but most certainly not least, we were also lucky enough to experience an afternoon private poolside cabana rental, complete with our very own butler, television, and mini plunge pool. Yep: heaven.

Let's talk for a moment about dining. I'm a vegetarian, and it's safe to say that I had some of the best resort meal service at the Royalton. During each of our meals, there were always either an abundance of vegetarian options (the buffet was ridiculously amazing), or special vegetarian meals created just for me. During our dinner at the C/X Culinary Experience, while the other ladies noshed on jerk smoked duck breast and Caribbean spiny lobster, I enjoyed perfectly-prepared jerk tofu and vegetable ceviche. I loved feeling as if my meal was as thoughtfully prepared as everyone else's!

Travel and accommodations were provided by the Royalton Blue Waters. No positive reviews were required and all opinions and gushing are my own!

Also, all brides and grooms getting married at the resort are upgraded to the Diamond Club, and we were able to enjoy the full Diamond Club experience during our stay, including:

  • In-room butler service
  • An exclusive area to use on the beach with butler service
  • Personalized check-in and check-out
  • Access to the hors d'oeuvres, snacks, and drinks in the Diamond Club Lounge

Royalton Blue Waters is the perfect setting for your Jamaica wedding! Royalton's motto is "All-In Luxury", and throughout my stay, we experienced it first hand. So, rest assured that you and your guests will be treated to an absolutely stress-free experience. There are several ceremony locations on property, from a beachside bungalow to a private island, ideal for small weddings and rehearsal dinners. We were treated to a dinner on the island underneath a canopy of lights, and it was utterly magical. Royalton Blue Waters offers multiple destination wedding packages that are fully customizable: from colors to flowers, venue, and more!
