Oh my! Today's shoot was submitted by August Photography, and we are IN LOVE! It is amazing how they could take such simple and neutral colours and make it so pretty! We just love the baby's-breath here.

Congratulations, you two!

Lovebirds | How did you two meet?

Our special story truly felt like a fairy tale to us. It was short and sweet. We met during a spinning class at gym, we were total strangers, yet it felt as if our hearts knew there was more. He later told me how he couldn't stop thinking about me and eventually told himself that the next time he sees me he will introduce himself (which he has never done before). Within a few days we met again and ever since that day we both just knew that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together. We haven't spent a day apart since then. Gods grace and his loving mercy has been so good to us.

I said Yes | How did the proposal go down?

We flew down to George to meet his family and celebrate my birthday. Little did I know he had a few tricks up his sleeve. He had arranged with his family to set up thee most beautiful picnic table with thee most breathtaking view by the sea. It was at sunset, the waves were breaking and the sound of the sea was so pleasant. He suggested taking a photo of me to capture moment and the incredible view, only to find out he never did. As I turned around to see what was taking him so long, he was right behind me on one knee. I was absolutely blown away, the overwhelming surprise is indescribable!

The Big Day | What was the most memorable moment of your wedding day?

It is most definitely the atmosphere in the woods. There was a ray of sun that shone through the woods and fell only upon us, almost as if we were being highlighted and Gods blessings were pouring down upon us. There was also a rumble of thunder every now and then, once again it felt like God just making us aware of His presence. The reason why the thunder was so special to us, is because every time something really special happened between us or in our lives there was always a rumble of thunder.

Describe your wedding day in one sentence

Magical forest, good food, good music and wonderful company, a day we wished would never end.

Forever & Always | Any advice for future brides?

The day goes by so quickly, so make the most of every moment. Do your preparations well so that the day runs smoothly allowing you to sit back, relax and take it all in.
