Wedding Star Trail

This was a shot that I did especially for two of my friends on their wedding day. They both love star gazing so a star trail seemed apt for them. Given that we live in the UK I didn't have high hopes for a clear night, but we had one of the clearest nights that I can remember. As the guests were leaving everyone commented on how bright the stars were. Method: This is a set of 100 x 30 second exposures, stacked together using star trails.exe. The bride and groom were lit by off camera flash (and light pollution from the wedding venue) for the first 30 second exposure, after that they went back inside and the earth's rotation took care of the other 99 shots.
