The Twirl

This past weekend I had the absolute honor and privilege of photographing the wedding of Alexandra & Nathan. A young, humble, Christian couple, the only request the bride had for me in terms of photography was to get a shot of Nate twirling her hair. It was something he does when they’re watching TV, or relaxing, or just when she’s stressing out… it’s “their thing”. After the ceremony we went to a shady park, sat them on the grass and 15 seconds later was done. It was so natural for them and her expression shows how doing this gives her complete peace. I get the same feeling after my first plate of sushi is set in front of me. More of this beautiful backyard wedding on my Facebook fan page .
