Summer Of Fun

This Summer is strange. I hardly have any weddings booked. In a way it’s scary because as a new homeowner I need to know that I’ll be able to generate enough income in order to pay the mortgage. But in another way, I know that I really don’t have anything to worry about because God is in control and I’m sure He knows why my Summer is so wide open. Well, not completely open. I’ll be out of the country for about 10 days starting this Friday, and then when I return I will be teaching an Intermediate Digital Photography course at the local Park & Rec. And (since I’m in a self-promoting mood) if you’re local to the 805/SoCal, swing by the National Park Service Headquarters in Thousand Oaks and pick up the 2011 Summer OUTDOORS Magazine in which I have the cover shot, and a few others inside. I’m also in the process of selecting photos for the 2011 Ventura County Fair. They have brought back the “Professional Division” which I assume by now it’s probably a safe assumption on my part that I’d qualify for. So I’m in the process of selecting images for the Nature, Weddings, Portraits, Agriculture and Fair Theme. I’m pretty sure I got the ones I want, but if you’re seriously bored at work/home/school today, feel free to go through my work and make suggestions.
