The Queen Has Spoken

Alternate title: Who wears the pants in this family? I’ll be honest, as a photographer, I love cake facials. It’s always unexpected and it brings the party up a notch. I was looking back in my archives to see if it was mostly the husbands doing it, or the wives, and I think it’s about 50/50. Some say that it’s mean, and rude, and disrespectful to shove wedding cake all over each other’s face. I’m not sure. If the newlyweds really are comfortable with each other and can be mature, yet playful, then why not? Well, unless the wife has a lot of makeup on, and you get the cake in her hair which took 3 hours, etc… but all those things are irrelevant if you can show publically your love for each other by shoving cake up someone’s nose and eyes and then kiss and laugh about it later.
