Say Cheese!

Little did you know that I was actually born in Wisconsin. I still have relatives there, and one of them, Stephanie, my second-cousin, found me and asked me a couple months ago to come out and photograph her wedding. I said absolutely! So everything went well. It was so great to see my aunt and uncle who I haven’t seen in many years. I haven’t seen my cousin or his wife, or my second cousin or anyone is such a long time. I loved being back in Wisconsin. Great food, beer, people, cheap homes, lots of barns & lighthouses, friendly… just everything was great. Except the weather. Snow in April? Not for me. I realize why my dad left. Beautiful but just can’t deal with that snow. So while at the wedding, I wanted to get a few shots that just screamed Wisconsin Wedding using the objects iconified by the state. So I asked to shoot their rings, and after a few different ideas, thought what else screams Wisconsin more than cheese..? So, grabbed some real Wisconsin cheese, and there you have it. Barns, lighthouses & more wedding shots all this week. Sorry I have been a poop about commenting. Maybe tomorrow I’ll get into the details of the trip, the lack of sleep, almost getting snowed in, in Chicago, etc. I’ll try better today. :)
