Wedding - Dilemma: State Of Perplexity Especially As Requiring A Choice Between Equally Unfavorable Options

Dilemma: State Of Perplexity Especially As Requiring A Choice Between Equally Unfavorable Options

Many months ago I was asked by one of my best friends Keith (who was one of my groomsmen – and I was his best man years ago) to do a favor and photograph his wife’s sisters wedding for them since they were young and on a budget. Laguna Beach, Ca, on the beach, how could it be better? And since I was his best man, I am eternally dedicated to helping a brotha out. Recent personal situations coinciding with this wedding created a lot of tension and put me in the center of it. So with a good amount of regret and a lowered reputation I photographed the wedding much to the appreciation of the bride’s Facebook status: “bride” thanks John Mueller for the quickest turnaround and the most beautiful photos!!!!! www.johnbmueller.com Weddings are something you have one chance at. There is no rewind and no do-overs. And years afterwards it’s the photographs that remain. I take that job very seriously and those who I photograph them for know my dedication to what I do. So as much regret as I have for missing other events, I know that my service will be appreciated by this young couple for the rest of their lives.
