Not that I’ve been doing this a long time, but I love it when I’m presented with a situation, challenge or client that makes me say, “wow, well, I’ve never done that before” I met Amy & Aaron through our church. They’ve been on a mission trip out in Germany the past 8mo and returned back to the US for a couple months to get married. They asked me to photograph their engagement/wedding after seeing the photos I did of Travis & Jackie and Trevor & Julie last year. So I met them down at the beach yesterday (for the first time) and was going over some of the standard poses, techniques, etc. ...Okay, so some of the shots you’ll be nose to nose, holding hands looking at each other, and then nose-to-cheek… maybe try a dip, or just kissing while your hands are above your he…… ..OH, sorry. We don’t kiss Huh? We’re saving ourselves for our wedding day Now say what you will, this young couple is really going to have an amazing Wedding day. It was a challenge creating poses and situations which showed their love for each other, but without kissing. But their spunk, good nature, love and enthusiasm easily made up for it and we came away with some really fun shots. Best wishes Amy & Aaron and I look forward to your wedding next month! facebook
