Wedding - The Warmth Of Each Other

The Warmth Of Each Other

Okay, so I did hype this up a little bit, and no, it's not the worlds greatest engagement shot but... lets just say there was virtually no Photoshopping here as the sunset really was that intense. So we get down there (as I said previously) and there were at least 9 other photographers with their clients down there shooting. It was overcast and dark. Great for soft lighting, but that's about it. So, we're just mulling around and then... the sun starts to come out below the clouds. And it's orange and warm. I get my flash ready, and start to shoot. Towards the end, I wanted some more dramatic silhouette shots. Just told them to "make out and canoodle" and they were such troopers, getting wet and just doing everything right. I got my immatation Berkinstocks all wet and just kept firing in RAW. Didn't need to do much to these because honestly that sunset was so intense. Looking the other direction it looks like there was a fire close by. When we were done is when I took a few personal shots. HDR didn't work here because of the intensity. It was just fun to experience it. The funniest part was after we were done, I had a couple of the other photographers come up to me asking how/why I was shooting with no flash. One brought his bride/groom up and I showed them some of my shots like this. The bride and groom were... well, they liked them a lot. So they asked their photographer, "hey, did we get any like this..." Er... no, not really.... oops. Now I'm the bad guy
