Say Yes To Forever

I had a million creative ideas of how to propose. One idea was to tape the ring to the bottom of a Starbucks cup and then take her to the Starbucks we first met at and tell her to check under her cup. Another was to get the ring and put it on her finger while sleeping and then wake up in the middle of the night saying I had this real crazy dream about proposing to her, and letting her find the ring. But when it came down to it, we just wanted to get married. So last night I softened a fortune cookie from Panda Express in the microwave, put my own unique message inside along with the ring and closed the ring back up and put it back in the package. We were at home last night after long days, wearing pajamas around 8pm just preparing to watch Storage Wars and then bed… I was shuffling through the junk drawer and said, “geez, I wonder how old this fortune cookie is… here, open it up and see what the fortune says..” She almost threw it out saying it was too old. I literally had to yell at her and tell her to open it. She did, she cried, and she said yes. Crap, now I have to find someone to photograph MY wedding.
