The Svelte Couple

It's a new year and with it a new focus. I'm trying my best to balance my day job, photography and having a family and there are only 24hrs in a day. Gavin is 7mo old now, so we're sleeping a bit more, but any time I go out to shoot, scout or have a client meeting, it puts more of a burden on my wife to watch Gavin even longer. The passion is still there, but my enthusiasm for creating is at an all time low. I used to just want to shoot everything and anything for the sake of being creative and share with others. Sadly, Flickr has REALLY died. Five years ago I knew at least 40 different people on there and met several in person. It was more of a community and it was inspirational. Some of those people are still here, but it's just not the same. I'm not sure if they're on G+ or 500px or where they are, bu I miss the good 'ol days. Anyway, if you comment on here I promise to visit your photos. It should be reciprocal, but sometimes life gets too busy to remember. I value all of your comments, Faves and friendships. Please let me know how I can be more of a friend in the future. Happy 2014
