Stunning old cushion cut Ceylon blue sapphire set in a vintage 1930's 14K yellow and white gold ring. During the 1930's depression era money was scarce. To give the appearance of a fine diamond accent (with out the cost), an "x" was made in the white gold where a small diamond would normally be set.
